Noren (a traditional Japanese fabric divider) made with fabric silkscreen printing for my grandfather’s confectionary store in Hokkaido, Japan.
The noren was designed to be hung between the store and the hallway entrance to my grandfather’s home. The front panel illustrates the sweets showcased in the store, while the back panel acts as a wallpaper depicting the landscape of Hokkaido with photos of my grandfather and grandmother.

The noren can also be used at the entrance of the store as a means to display the shop’s name.
